In the celebration of the apocalypse, we present you the 2nd Annual ProGamist Game Awards. The jury is you, our community, the ProGamist Galaxy of which 50% votes are taken into consideration and ofcourse me constituting another 50%. Last year, we had a 7 member jury team sadly they are busy preparing for the apocalypse out there. So let’s start.

 

#32. Videogame Trailer of The Year

The announcement trailers play a very important part in creating the buzz for an upcoming game and as they say “First impression… is the last impression”. Some trailers released this year made a long-lasting impression and genuinely created the anticipation needed for the launch of game. The best trailer of the year award will be given to the one which succeeded in doing so by showcasing what to expect from that game. The winner is:

 

 

The aftermath of watching the trailer is, “Woah! They can make a movie on this!”. Ofcourse, they can. Keep it up, Rockstar.

The Indian game of The Year award as you know we are based in India and we support the ever growing Indian gaming community and we also encourage the developers to nurture their games so the day will not be far when we will get the “change”. The industry here has still a long way to go.
